ลองเข้าตามลิงค์ที่คุณจักรนันท์ให้มาแล้วครับ ในเว็บเขาบอกให้ใช้เครื่องมือ sane-find-scanner ผมลองใช้แล้วมันบอกว่า

ต่อครับผมลองใช้ scanimage -L ดูแล้วมันบอกว่า
No scanners were identified. If you were expecting something different,
check that the scanner is plugged in, turned on and detected by the
sane-find-scanner tool (if appropriate). Please read the documentation
which came with this software (README, FAQ, manpages).

ไปถูกทางแล้วครับ เกือบแล้ว อยู่แค่ปลายจมูกคุณแล้วครับ
ผมตอบสั้น เพราะตอนนี้ยังยุ่งๆ เวลามีไม่มากจะพิมพ์ยาวๆ
และอยากให้ได้ลองพยายามเสียก่อน เพราะ SANE นั้น Config ไม่ยากเลย
จากที่เอามาให้ดู คือ...
found USB scanner (vendor=0x04a5 [Color], product=0x20f8 [ FlatbedScanner 22]) at libusb:002:002
นั่นครับ แสดงว่าเจอแล้วครับ อยู่ปลายจมูกแล้ว
ส่วน scanimage -L จะใช้หลังจากเรา Config แล้วครับ
แต่ตอนนี้... เมื่อเรา Probe แล้ว (sane-find-scanner) มันค้นหาพบ แสดงว่ามันติดต่อกันได้
ขั้นต่อไป เราก็ต้องไป Config ก่อนครับ แล้วจึงจะมาลอง scanimage -L ครับ
การ Config ต้องไป Config ที่ไฟล์ /etc/sane.d/dll.conf และอีกไฟล์คือ /etc/sane.d/โมเด็ล.conf
ตรง "โมเด็ล" ที่ผมว่าคือ ชื่อไฟล์มันมักจะเป็นชื่อโมเด็ลของ Scanner นั้นๆ หาข้อมูลได้จาก Link ที่ผมให้ไปแล้วคือ http://www.sane-project.org/sane-mfgs.html#Z-BENQ--ACER-
การ Config ใน "โมเด็ล.conf" ก็จะต้องเอาข้อมูลที่ Probe ได้ไปใส่ว่า Scanner เราต่อที่ไหน Port อะไร ฯลฯ ซึ่ง มันรายงานออกมาให้คุณเห็นอยู่แล้ว
ส่วนการ Config ที่ dll.conf เป็นการ Config เพื่อเลือกใช้ "โมเด็ล.conf" อันไหน (มากกว่า 1 ตัวก็ได้) เท่านั้น
รายละเอียดการ Config ต้องกำหนดอะไรอย่างไร ขอให้ลองปล้ำดูต่อไปอีกหน่อยครับ จะได้เข้าใจได้ด้วยตนเอง
ผมจะยังไม่บอกลงไปถึง "วิธีทำ" ว่าจะต้องป้อนอะไร
แต่ขอยืนยันว่า อีกนิดเดียวจริงๆ ครับ นิดเดียวขนาดที่ว่า ไฟล์หนึ่ง แค่เข้าลบ Comment ออกแค่ตัวอักษรเดียวเท่านั้น
ส่วนอีกไฟล์หนึ่ง *อาจ* ไม่ต้องแก้ไขอะไรเลย
ง่ายขนาดนั้นเลยเชียวจริงๆ นะ

เมื่อทำได้แล้วช่วยมาโพสต์บอกด้วยนะครับ จะได้เป็นวิทยาทานให้กับท่านอื่น ๆ ต่อไปครับ :D
benq น่าจะมี driver สำหรับ Linux นะครับ เคยลองไป search ดูรึยังครับ ผมเคยเซ็ตรุ่นเก่ากว่านี้ง่ายนิดเดียวเองครับ แต่จำวิธีทำไม่ได้แล้วมันผ่านมาหลายปีแล้วครับ

อย่าเพิ่งยอมแพ้สิครับ นิดเดียวเองจริงๆ

ในหน้านั้นจะมีรายชื่อ Scanner ที่ Support แยกตามยี่ห้อ และในตารางของยี่ห้อ BENQ ก็มีรุ่น 5000 ที่คุณใช้ เห็นไหมครับ?
ในตารางนี้ จะมีช่อง "Backend" เห็นไหมครับ?
ตรงนั้นจะระบุว่า "SnapScan" เห็นไหมครับ?
ก็แปลว่า ไฟล์ Config ของ BenQ 5000 คือ SnapScan ครับ ซึ่งก็คือ snapscan.conf นั่นเอง และไม่ต้องไปแก้ไขอะไรเลย เพราะผมลองดูแล้ว ปรากฏว่าค่าภายในไฟล์นั้นที่เขา Default มา ก็ตรงกับที่ Probe เจอบนเครื่องคุณอยู่แล้วครับ
ดังนั้น ในไฟล์ /etc/sane.d/dll.conf ก็ให้เอา Comment (เครื่องหมาย #) หน้า snapscan ออกเท่านั้น (ส่วนบรรทัดอื่นๆ ให้ใส่ # นำหน้าให้หมด)
เท่านั้น ก็จะใช้งานได้แล้ว ลองเรียก scanimage -L เพื่อทดสอบดูได้เลย
หลังจากนั้นค่อยลองเรียก xsane ซึ่งทำงานเป็น GUI มาทดลองดู
ส่วนโปรแกรมอื่นๆ เช่น The Gimp จะเรียกหาจาก xsane ได้เองอยู่แล้วครับ

พอใช้ scanimage -L แล้วมันบอกว่า

หมายความว่ายังไงอ่ะครับ
แล้วพอใช้ xsane แล้วมันบอกว่าใช้เลือก Device สองตัวคือ Test1 และ Test2 ลองเลือกทุกตัวแล้วก็ยังใช้ไม่ได้พอคลิกที่ scan ไม่เห็น Scanner ทำงานเลย ต้องทำยังไงต่อครับ :oops:

พอลองรีบูทเครื่องแล้วลองใช้ scanimage -L ดูแล้วมันบอกว่า

แต่ถ้าล็อกอินเป็น root แล้วมันบอกว่า
device 'snapscan:libusb:002:002' is a Acer FlatbedScanner22 flatbed scanner
พอลองใช้ xsane ใน root มันบอกว่า
Failed to open device 'snapscan:libusb:002:002' Invalid argument.
ใช้ xsane ใน user มันบอกว่า no devices available
ต้องทำยังไงครับ

ขอให้แก้ไขไฟล์ /etc/sane.d/snapscan.conf เป็นดังนี้ครับ

(อย่าลืมเคาะ Enter ขึ้นบรรทัดใหม่เปล่าๆ ทิ้งท้ายไว้ด้วยนะครับ)
ส่วนใน /etc/sane.d/dll.conf ถูกต้องแล้ว ไม่ต้องแก้ไขอะไร
ต่อไปก็ลอง Reboot เสียก่อน แล้ว Login เป็น root
แล้วลอง scanimage -L ดูก่อน แล้วมาบอกผลนะครับ
อ้อ... ถ้ายังมีปัญหา ต่อไปจะให้ Download เอา SANE ตัวล่าสุดมาลองติดตั้งดูก่อน
เพราะผมเห็นว่า ที่มัน Error แจ้งว่าเจอ Scanner สองตัวเป็น test:0 และ test:1 นั้น
มันดูแปลกๆ คล้ายๆ กับ SANE ไม่ได้ไปอ่าน Config ที่ /etc/sane.d แต่ไปไหนก็ไม่รู้
ถ้าเป็นแบบนั้น สู่ Remove เอา SANE ที่มากับ TLE 7.0 ออกก่อน แล้วเอามาติดตั้งใหม่เลยดีกว่า
จะได้ไม่ต้องไปหา ว่ามันไปเที่ยวหาไฟล์ Config ที่ไหน
