ผมเพิ่งติดตั้ง Linux TLE5.5 ตาม release notes ซึ่งผมอ่านจาก ftp://ftp.opentle.org/pub/linux-tle/samila/i386/RELEASE-NOTES.html ที่บอกว่า

ลินุกซ์ทะเลสามารถใช้งานระบบสามมิติได้สำหรับการ์ดบางรุ่นเช่น Matrox, Intel i8xx และ NVidia Geforce โดยเฉพาะ NVidia ต้องทำการติดตั้ง NVIDIA_GLX เพิ่มเติมจาก แผ่นติดตั้ง cdrom_#3 /TLE/RPMS.drivers/NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-4496_1tle.i386.rpm
หรือ
# apt-get update
# apt-get install NVIDIA_GLX
หลังจากนั้นให้ทำการแก้ไข /etc/X11/XF86Config โดยการลบบรรทัด Load "dri" ออก และเปลี่ยน Driver "nv" เป็น Driver "nvidia"

ผมทำตามนี้แล้ว พอ reboot ปรากฏว่าใช้ไม่ได้ ต้องใส่ password ของ root แล้วเข้าไปตั้งค่า XF86Config ใหม่ และ XF86Config ที่ผมได้แก้ไขไปก่อนที่จะ reboot ก็จะถูกเปลี่ยนเป็น XF86Config.bak ไม่ทราบว่าผมตกหล่นอะไรไปหรือเปล่าครับ
XF86Config.bak มีรายละเอียดตามนี้ครับ
